My game of the week is Temple Run

My game of the week is Temple Run. This game is an app for phones and tablets. I like it because you get to run from monkeys wearing masks, you also have to run to a temple to be protected from the masked monkeys. You have to dodge big gaps, tree trunks, and fire. I recommend  this game for  kids all ages.

Boxheads!

My game of the week is Boxheads. I  like this game because you get to blow off zombies heads. You get to help the citizens defeat the zombies. This is a very fun game you should play!

Teen Read Week Oct. 14th-20th

This week is Teen Read Week.  Every year the Young Adult Library Services Association selects a different theme for Teen Read Week, and this year it's "It Came From the Library".  All week come into the Teen department and tell me about a book you have read and you will receive a coupon for a free fry from Arbys.   You can tell me about one book a day. At the end of the week we will draw several winners from all of the participants for some great prizes!  So be sure to come by the library for Teen Read Week!

Teen Craft Class (DIY Wednesdays)

Starting on Wednesday, October 24th at 4:00 we will be having a monthly craft class for teens.  We will be calling it DIY Wednesday, and we plan on crafting, cooking, and all other sorts of creative things!
This month we will be making earrings out of recycled 2liter bottles.  I got this idea off of Pinterest, and as soon as I saw them I knew that I had to make them.....they are just too cool!  I'm sure after checking out the image below you will agree with me! Be sure to sign up in either the teen or children's department as space is limited.  Can't wait to see you there!
