Teen Job Search Help Thursday May 22nd (Rescheduled from Tuesday May 20th)

Come join us Thursday May 22nd from 2:30-7:30 for the Teen Job Search Program.  Teen Space staff will be assisting in filling out online applications, making up resumes, and giving tips to help find a job.  Open to all teens up to age 19.
 Please bring the following:
-Social Security Number
-Any Prior Workplace (address, phone number, supervisor name)
-Any clubs you are in, any awards you've received, extracurricular activities, sports
-Driver's license or state id if you have one

Teens Need Libraries

Every day the Teen Space at the Danville Public Library is full with teens.  There are so many reasons why I love working with teens and feel that it is crucial that they have a safe place to themselves.  When I stumbled across this video it really summed up in two minutes the importance of a Teen Space at the Danville Public Library and all other libraries.

Free Teen Movie Thursday Feb. 20th-"Enders Game"

This Thursday, February 20th the Danville Public Library will be showing the Teen Movie "Enders Game" at  4:00pm.  The movie is based on the book by the same name written by Orson Scott Card.  The movie is rated PG-13 and is 114 minutes long.  All teens age 12-18 are welcome to attend.  Refreshments will be provided.

February's Movie for Kids

Come join us this Thursday, February 13 for the kid's movie Turbo.
The movie will start at 3:15 p.m., and a snack will be served.
